Living Children's Academy
Old Jeshwang, The Gambia
Providing holistic physical, mental, spiritual, and social education.
Our History
Living Children's Academy was established at Old Jeshwang in September 2005. Located behind the Oryx petrol filling station off the Banjul Highway, the academic year started with just twenty-two students in Nursery One and fifteen students in Grade One.
As the years passed, the school experienced significant progress. Living Children's Academy is generous and benevolent towards meeting the aspirations of students and community needs. We admit Gambian and non-Gambian pupils alike, providing holistic education guided by a five-member Board of Management and qualified teachers utilizing quality assurance standards set by the Ministry of Education.
Academic Performance
We have seen significant progress in both internal and external examinations. During an inspection by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Living Children's Academy came out first position in Region One.
Our graduates are frequently admitted into top Senior Secondary Schools, and many have successfully completed Universities or gained meaningful employment in banking, engineering, nursing, medicine, and journalism. Since inception, we have trained over 1,850 students who successfully completed Grade 9.
